Offering unique experiences and knowledge
The experimenta is Germany’s biggest Science Center, 25,000m2 offering a fascinating world of experiences and knowledge. There are more than 270 interactive stations, nine state-of-the-art laboratories with numerous and diverse courses for school classes and pre-school groups, an observatory and the Science Dome, a globally unique combination of planetarium and theatre.
This renders the experimenta not only one of the largest learning sites outside school in the country. It also offers a target group which ranges from pre-school to old-age pensioners a broad range of knowledge transfer that competes with the best and most innovative in Europe. The Science Center is an institution established by the Dieter Schwarz Foundation, one of Germany’s biggest foundations in the sectors of education and science.
